Claire Jones
DAW is saddened to hear of the death of Claire Jones 99, who served on the Executive Committee for many years and a prominent Director, Actor with the then Cwmbran Theatre Club.
Claire won many trophies over the years at various One Act Play festivals and in 2015 was given the DAW Lifetime Achievement Award for all her work for Theatre throughout Wales. The picture below shows Claire, centre, receiving her award.
Claire will sadly be missed by many South Wales thespians. Rip Claire…
