1. Charges for members

Please note: we will send all plays by signed for delivery with Royal Mail to be sure that you have received them.
The plays will be sent with a copy of the order form showing all charges (minus any renewal fees). You can either enclose a cheque (made payable to ‘RWCMD Ltd’) on return or an invoice will be issued on receipt of the items, to be paid within 30 days.
1.3 Renewals and late return of items
Copies may be renewed for up to two additional weeks, by arrangement, with no additional charge provided they have not been requested by another member. Loans beyond this and/or without prior arrangement, will be charged at 50p per week per item.
1.4 Loss of items
If copies are reported lost or not returned, an invoice will be issued to include replacement costs. This will be the current replacement cost (or £10 where not available) plus a £5 administration charge.
2. Process for placing orders and renewing
- You can call or email us using the contact details listed at the top of this document.
- A member of staff should usually be available between 9 and 5, all year round. Please see our website for full details of opening hours and any variation: library.rwcmd.ac.uk
- We encourage you to use our order form to send through your requests, either by post or email.
- It is advisable to request plays at least a week before they are needed, to allow time for us to search, collect and post them. We can often do this faster, but we are a small team and run the service on top of running our Library, so staff sickness or leave may cause delays.
- Please address all returned plays to ‘Library’ so that they are not lost within the College.
- Please make any cheques payable to ‘RWCMD Ltd’.
3. Entitlements of membership
3.1 The hire of up to 10 titles (single titles or sets) from the DAW Collection at any one time
3.2 Telephone or email ordering and renewal service
3.3 The use of designated PCs within RWCMD Library to search the DAW Collection on the Library Catalogue
3.4 The use of RWCMD Library for reference purposes
3.5 An optional additional annual payment of £10.00 (incl. VAT) to allow borrowing of up to 5 items from RWCMD Library collections, as well the hire of titles (see 4.1) from the DAW collection
4. General rules of membership
4.1 If you borrow an item before paying for membership, it is assumed that you have agreed to membership for that period and you will be invoiced.
4.2 Renewal of membership may be refused if a member persistently defaults or is in debt to the Library
4.3 Access to the College computer network is not included
